tuition assistance
Financial aid is available to students who are currently
enrolled at City Tree Christian School (CTCS). We will also consider
applications from students who are enrolling in our school for the first
time. We offer the following types of financial assistance:
Short-Term Tuition Assistance: Financial aid
is to help a family on a short-term basis to cover an unforeseen situation
including, but not limited to, loss of employment, family crisis or
illness. Aid may be granted for entire or partial tuition. Typically
given for one to three months, but can be granted for as long as six
months without reapplying.
Reduced Tuition: Financial aid to help a family
who cannot afford the full tuition amount. This is usually given for
an entire school year. Typically, reductions of $10.00 to $100.00
a month on tuition may be given. Reduced tuition is granted one year
at a time. We can not guarantee that assistance will continue from
year to year; families must apply each year for reduced tuition.
If you would like to be considered for financial aid,
please come to the school office to pick up an application. You
must also attach your most recent federal income tax return.
All information will be kept confidential.
Assistance is given based on financial need and City Tree
Christian's ability to meet that need. Priority is given to families
who have a long-term relationship with City Tree Christian School and/or
First Presbyterian Church. Students must be in good academic and behavioral
standing with the school in order to be considered for assistance and
to continue to qualify for assistance.
New Students: After first touring the school,
new students may request a financial aid application. Students who are
new to our school will also need to have two recommendation letters
completed.
Applications are due in April. They are reviewed by the
CTCS school board. Decisions will be communicated in writing to all
applicants in June
