Computer lab
City
Tree Christian School has a state of art computer lab. It consists of
a server, 25 networked computers with Internet access, a scanner, a
large instructional monitor, and several printers. Our classroom computers
are also networked to the lab.
Our preschool students are introduced to the basics of
computer use and work on beginning reading and math skills. Three and
four year olds visit the computer lab 1-2 timers per week.
Our elementary students use the computers to practice
reading, writing, and math skills. They learn the basics of keyboarding,
word processing, power point presentations, and desktop publishing.
Students use the Internet as a resource to conduct research projects
in a variety of subject areas. All elementary classes visit the lab
at least four times per week for approximately thirty minutes each day.
