Sign-In/Sign-Out Sheets and Procedures:
Signing in and out each day is
a must for every parent. Before school, and during the school day, sign-in
sheets are located on clipboards at your child's classroom, either just
inside the door or on the outside wall. During the after school program
the sign-in sheets are with the children. Employees can direct you to
their specific location in each area. These sheets are legal documents
and a vital school record; they become especially important when accounting
for children during a fire or earthquake. It is critical that the emergency
phone number is printed legibly each day. A parent or other adult must
bring the child into the school, sign the child in, write an emergency
phone number for the day, and be sure to write the name of the person
who will pick up the child. Please sign your full name (not "mom"
or "dad"). Children may not sign for themselves.
Sign out when picking up the child.
If you would like to give permission to someone not on your designated
pick-up list to pick up your child, please come to the school office
and complete a Temporary Authorization Form. The child cannot be released
to anyone not listed on the application pick-up list, daily sign-in
sheet, or Temporary Authorization Form (available in the school office).
No exceptions. If you are not going to be able to pick up your child,
please make sure that the person designated to pick the child up is
on your list. Changes/additions to this list must be made in writing
in the school office.
