Every year, our scholarship fund provides tuition assistance for students who might not otherwise be able to attend a Christian school. Consistently, this need far surpasses the funds available. We hope to grow our scholarship fund in order to provide quality Christian education for as many students as possible.
We greatly appreciate individuals and businesses who have partnered with City Tree by donating to our scholarship fund, and desire to make this process as smooth and rewarding as possible. Our request is simple, please take a minute to review the donation options form, and consider how you might help.
Here's what some of the City Tree family has to say:
Most would agree that a quality education is vital to the future success of our children. Unfortunately, quality education is also becoming more difficult to find and fund. City Tree Christian School (CTCS), located in downtown San Diego, is a place where children are provided with a firm foundation from which to enter the world. CTCS educates children ages 2 through 8th grade. Socially, our student body thrives in an ethnically and socio-economically diverse, urban setting. Our student population is comprised of approximately 23% African Americans, 8% Asian/Pacific Islanders, 42% Caucasians, and 25% Hispanics. Academically, students benefit from small class sizes, extracurricular activity variety, and dedicated staff. As a result, our students consistently excel in nation-wide standardized testing.
At City Tree Christian School, our goal is to provide a quality education for as many students as possible. To this end, we have implemented a community sponsorship program and need your help. We are asking individuals and businesses to consider sponsoring the education of a child, who might not otherwise have adequate financial resources to fund private schooling. There are several ways you can help:
- Full sponsorship - fund a child's full year of school
- Partial sponsorship - fund half of a child's school year
- Regular donation - give a regular monthly contribution
- One-time donation - contribute to our general scholarship fund to assist families with occasional financial difficulty.
See Donation Form for more details or click here to donate online.
If you are not able to sponsor a child, please consider donating to our general scholarship fund. These monies go to helping families with financial need on a smaller scale. All donations and sponsorships are tax deductible as City Tree is classified as a non profit 501c3 Religious Organization.
Thank you for your consideration and effort to help make our community stronger!
